Hola Ana!

Solo para saludarte y decirte que toda la organizacion fue perfecta y todos vuestros colaboradores muy eficientes.

He pasado un tiempo maravilloso.

Gracias,

Hi Ana,

It was such a pleasure to meet you. Marilyn and I both appreciate how pleasant and helpful you were throughout our trip (honeymoon). Everything was arranged so well and it went very smoothly for us. This was truly a trip of a lifetime.

When we arrived at San Jose we were so tired and felt like cattle being herded through airport customs. So when we saw Eduardo standing there with his sign saying “Perry and Marilyn” it was such a relief. He ended up being our primary driver throughout our trip. He was always prompt, informative, and fun to be around. Often it is the small things that speak the loudest about a company. He really deserves recognition for projecting such a positive image of your business.

The accommodations at the hotel in San Jose were ideal for us. The Victorian feeling of the rooms suited us perfectly. Its location enabled us to explore the city by walking without ever jeopardizing our safety. We especially enjoyed exploring the Parque Marced and Metro Park La Sabana.

The bus ride to the Operations Center was very scenic and could have been more enjoyable if the driver had slowed down some. But we found later that most Ricans drive a little crazy. The trip on the Pacuare River was phenomenal and Juan did an exemplary job as our guide. When our luggage was misplaced, he saw to it that it was brought to the lodge the next morning. The accommodations here were a little less than promoted, but were practical. We really looked forward to the 4-5 hour hike high into the Pacuare Reserve that was advertised, but Juan said that this was not something he was aware of. All the meals prepared by Juan and his help were great.

The trip to and stay at the lodge in Corcovado was, to put it mildly, exceptional. Everything thing about our stay there was extraordinary. Our guides nickname was “Memo” and he too was excellent. He made our hikes and boat rides so enjoyable. The lodge is 5 star and much more than we expected. The only disappointment here was when conditions did not allow us to go snorkeling by Cano Island.

Thanks again Ana and we look forward to working with you again.

Pura Vida

Dear Ms. Lam,

I wish to extend my sincere thanks for arranging our visit to your beautiful country.  Perhaps it is best summarized by my daughter's words as we left for the airport, "I would do this all again, exactly like we did!"

Be assured that I will recommend rainforest tours to any friends who might be visiting,

Sincerely yours,

Hi Ana:

We had a GREAT TIME on our trip! It went along very smoothly. The hotels were excellent - we especially liked the Grano de Oro and Capitan Suizo- and the drivers were always prompt, courteous and concerned about our comfort and  safety. We enjoyed all parts of the itinerary. I especially liked the drive from Lake Arenal to Monteverde--which is probably what most people dislike as it is a very difficult trip, but unavoidable. I thought the scenery was beautiful and well worth the discomfort of the long, bumpy drive. What I found about tourists in Costa Rica, as I was there for 6 weeks, is that they are a special breed. They are physically active people with a sense of adventure and do not complain or whine--like people in many resorts in the US and abroad that we have come across--I guess pura vida  is contagious! Actually what I also liked is that most people were considerably younger than Bert and me and we were able to keep up with them! (We were there to celebrate our 30th anniversary and many people looked at us and smiled--maybe we looked liked honeymooners!)

Even though we loved the Capitan Suizo--having lived in Quepos/Manuel Antonio for two weeks I prefer that area to Tamarindo, which I considered very "touristic" outside the gates of the Capitan Suizo--which was the next best thing to paradise. I liked the beach at Manuel Antonio (Espadilla Beach) much nicer than Tamarindo--and prices at restaurants not as inflated. Also-- since you have the option of going to Quepos when you are in Manuel Antionio, you get to see "real people"...which is an important aspect of travel. In Tamarindo, gringos and ticos and very much separated.

If we were to return, I would prefer an area like Manuel Antonio--is there an equivalent hotel to Capitan Suizo---beautiful grounds, gardens, rooms, restaurant and service- in Manuel Antonio? What about Corcovado and the Osa Peninsula which I hear is very beautiful?

We are already raving about our trip to our friends and family and will certainly refer them to you if they are planning a trip to Costa Rica. After reviewing out photos, Bert will send you a few. Feel free to use us as a reference.

Regards,

Hi Ana!

Our trip was fabulous. We had a really good time through all of it and we never had any issues with the vouchers.  All the hotels were excellent as well. Gerardo was especially great for us as he provided a lot of insight into the country and helped us spot animals. He definately took care of us.

The only thing we might suggest in Monteverde is to use the Adventure zipline tour as it appeared more exciting than the Original Canopy Tour. Although, we did end up with a private zipline tour since it was so early and the guides we had took lots of pictures of us and they were really great.

At Arenal, Gerardo also suggested that we ride horses to the waterfall in Arenal, and that was a lot of fun and a great suggestion. Also, the hiking tour at Arenal was okay but not great.  It rained most of the tour and got dark quickly, so we didn't see a whole lot. The next day, we decided to go to the National Park by ourselves before leaving for Monteverde and we saw much more there and had a better time, so perhaps a tour in that park would be better? It's also cooler because you get to sit on the lava rocks and watch lava come down the volcano.

But, we had an excellent time and we will definately refer your company in the future.

Thanks!

Hola Ana,

I wanted to let you know I really enjoyed my trip and everything went very well with the lodging and transportation.

I will contact you again in the future as I will definitely will be returning to Costa Rica (for my 3rd time!) and I will tell my friends to contact you if they would like help with travel arrangements.
Thank you again.

Hola Ana,

Saludos

Everything went splendid, all drivers were even early.  Your country is more beautiful then I expected.  Second night was clear so we watched volcano lava and its tracks all night - unbelievable, and we were so close!  Zip line was thrilling.  I had sky dived before but this was just as exciting.  Rafting was great - we even had a gust of wind snap a tree ahead of us - and to go for 18 miles in category 3 and 4's.

I will highly recommend you to anyone thinking of going there.  Thanks for taking care of all the details.

Dear Ana,

We had a wonderful trip to Costa Rica and very much appreciated your help in making the arrangements for us.  The people of Costa Rica were wonderful and most friendly.  We enjoyed it tremendously and only hope that one day we will be able to return.  If so, we will certainly seek your help in making bookings for us.

I include 2 pictures (flame colored tanager and boat-billed flycatcher) of the more than 100 bird species we were fortunate enough to see during our trip.  More than we hoped!

Best regards!

Ana,

We would like to sincerely thank you for setting up our amazing trip.  The hotels were amazing, one of a kind experiences, that were each so different, but all wonderful.  The tours you set us up with were perfect, 2 of them being only Jenny and I with a guide.

We expected some minor hiccups and appreciated your availability and help, in fixing any minor issues before they became problems.  The driver who dropped us off at the Quepos airport reimbursed us for the cab fare and apologized for not picking us up ealier in the week.  We were able to make the 8am flight out of Quepos and make our connecting flight to Punta Islita.

Thank you again for all your help.  We will recommend you to all friends that are seeking an amazing experience in Costa Rica.

Thank you,

Ana,

Thanks so much for putting together our adventure in Costa Rica.  We had a wonderful time and really appreciated the time that you spent helping us make decisions on tour packages and resorts.  Everything was just as you said it would be.  The package of tickets was waiting for us at the Best Western, the transportation was door to door and punctual, the resorts were just what we expected and breakfast was included each day!  Perfect!!  Christine and I have been telling our friends (and literally anyone who will stop long enough to listen to us) about our trip and are highly recommending that they contact you so that they can plan their next vacation in Costa Rica.
Pura Vida Costa Rica!!!
