Ciudad Perdida Ecolodge began as a graduation project of one of the Mora-Streber family.  An Ecolodge Design Proposal for the culmination of the University of Costa Rica´s ecotourism course.

The two bungalows each measure 64 m2 (214 sq. feet), consisting of two rooms each with two double beds, private bathrooms with hot water, AC, ceiling fan, refrigerator, security box, a clothing cabinet, lamp and night tables, coffeemaker,  garden chairs, private parking space, private garden, terrace, and hammocks.

Ciudad Perdida Ecolodge features two houses, 80 m2 (265 sq. feet) each, with 2 rooms, equipped with 1 full bed, 1 sofa bed, security box, lamps and night tables, a clothes cabinet, kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, kitchen sink, all necessary cutlery, (complete with pots, pans, plates and glasses for 8 people), coffeemaker, dining room with 4 wicker chairs, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hammocks, living room, wicker chairs, garden chairs, a terrace, 2 private bathrooms with hot water, a bug repellent light, private parking space and private garden.

• Rates are per night based on double occupancy (two guests per room) and include breakfast.

Transfers from San Jose area hotels or San Jose's Juan Santamaría International Airport to hotels in the Cahuita / Puerto Viejo area are $190.00 each way, for a minivan with a capacity of up to 9 passengers. Approximate time from San José to the area is approx 5 hours.

Transfer from Juan Santamaría International Airport to any hotel in San José $35, including airport assistance, for a minivan with a capacity of up to 9 passengers..
