| IGUANAZUL is located on the northwest Pacific coast,
approximately twenty eight kilometers south of Tamarindo Airport or a
five-hour drive northwest from Costa Rica's capital city, San José.
The hotel is situated on a cliff, with a spectacular view of the Pacific
ocean, surrounding deserted beaches and unforgettable sunsets. |
 |
| |
|
 |
Along with the lush vegetation and exotic wildlife
located on land, you can also find a world of marine life in the ocean
right in the hotel's front yard. The hotel is just a twisty sloping trail
away from the most perfect white sand beach; it is just secluded and solitary
enough to make you believe that you have become a castaway in paradise. |
| |
|
| As if the intensity of the impossibly blue Costa
Rican sky meeting the equally impossibly blue of the ocean at the horizon
line were not enough to create moments of contemplation, there is also
the mixture of the white sand and green trees and plants to fill your
eyes. |
 |
| |
|
 |
The Iguanazul's twenty-four spacious cabinas all
have two double beds, large Spanish-tiled bathrooms with hot water and
ceiling fans. Vaulted ceilings and cool pacific breezes keep the rooms
comfortable for a good nights sleep. |

Negra, Avellanas and countless secret spots are right out in the front
yard. |
