Star Mountain
Eco Resort is a small and intimate lodge with the ambiance of a bed
and breakfast and where personal attention to guests is their forte.
Their international cuisine features only the finest beef, poultry and
local seafood and the gourmet meals are served by the multi-lingual
European chefs/administrators, Daniel and Dominique in the restaurant
overlooking the beautiful pool and waterfall jacuzzi. Vegetarian dishes
are available upon request. Fresh fruits, vegetables and homemade soups
and breads are served daily and you will quite simply be amazed at the
dining experience all the while surrounded by the jungle's natural sounds.

This 3000 acre reserve is the habitat of a vast array of animal life and
the clearly marked trail system takes you through the majestic, lush and

by a group/family on an exclusive basis with ccomodations for put to 20
adults. Rates for large groups for special events, such as outdoor musical
concerts, movie & commercial productions, model shoots, biological
/ scientific & educational research projects, are available

DIRECTIONS

FLY: Sansa from San Jose Airport or Travelair from Pavas Airport to Tambor
and take taxi to Mal Pais.
DRIVE: To Puntarenas from San Jose and take the Tambor ferry to Paquera, across
Gulf of Nicoya. Drive west thru Tambor and Cobano to Mal Pais. |
