Waterfall Rappelling (Canyoning)

The tour begins with a hike through one short path that is about 3-minutes long into a tropical rainforest. During your hike stay on the lookout for different animals and plants that the forest has to offer such as tropical plant, birds, monkeys, parrots, butterflies, and thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers.

Once you reach the starting point and you become comfortable with all the safety procedures you will start your adventure waterfall rappelling (canyoning) down the first waterfall into the beautiful canyon below. Every slope has a stationary security cable.

From here on out, there are a total of five more waterfalls. All six waterfalls are different and the tallest one measures 40 meters (131 feet). Once finished, your guides will hike back with you to the base camp.

Night Tour

The tour begins at 5:30, just before nightfall, which is the transition from diurnal animals going to sleep and when the creatures of the night are just beginning to wake up. We will start by walking for 10 minutes and stop where we will watch a breathtaking sunset

After, your bilingual guide will lead you along the forest trials as you search for insects, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals that live in the forest and are creatures of the night.

Your guide will explain the reason that these nocturnal animals are best suited for the dark and answer any questions you may have.

Each person is given a flashlight so that they can also spot and observe on their own

What to bring?: Hiking boots tennis, long pants, bug repellent (some people do not find this necessary), comfortable clothes, and bring along a light rain jacket if cold or light rain.

Waterfall Tour

The tour starts hiking in the forest where you can see tropical birds, monkeys, parrots, butterflies, thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers, and two incredibly huge trees. There is also a Tarzan swing that you can swing from.

You will arrive at a rustic lodge cabin where we will show and explain how families lived here back in 1951. Then continue the hike through a trail that is slightly inclined to two beautiful waterfalls where you can enjoy swimming in the waterfalls and taking pictures. Then we will head back to the rustic log cabinet where we will be taken back to base camp on an oxcart.

What to bring?: Hiking boots/tennis shoes, bathing suit, quick dry light weight clothes, towel, bug repellent, camera, change of clothes, and a bottle of water.
